Das Kunstprojekt ‘Kaffee Lampe’ wurde 2008 von IN’s NETZ e.V. als Zwischennutzung in der Jenaer Galerie ‚Kunsthof‘ umgesetzt und wird jetzt für CITY VISIONS in einer ehemaligen Trafo-Station wiederbelebt. Die Idee ist so einfach wie gut: jeden Tag kommen Menschen im Café zusammen und diskutieren ihre Visionen von der Stadt. Findet eine Idee Zuspruch, geht ein Licht auf – jede Lampe steht für eine Idee – und so entsteht im Laufe des Festivals eine gemeinschaftliche Lichtskulptur von leuchtenden Visionen.

Das Fachgeschäft für Lichtaufgänge öffnet vom 8. bis 11. Oktober immer täglich von 10 bis 22 Uhr und wird durch ein kulturelles Veranstaltungsprogramm umrahmt.

KAFFEE LAMPE

The artistic project ‘Kaffee Lampe’ was originally initiated as an interim use of the gallery ‚Kunsthof‘ in Jena in 2008 by  IN’s NETZ e.V. and will be revived during the CITY VISIONS Festival in an unused transformer station. The idea is both simple and ingenious: every day people come together at the café to discuss their visions of the future city. When an idea gains the favor of many, a light is turned on – each lamp stands for one idea – and through this, a collaborative lightsculpture of luminous visions is formed.

During City Visions Jena from October 8. – 11. and framed by a diverse cultural programme the ‚Fachgeschäft für Lichtaufgänge‘ ( eng. specialist shop for brightness) ‚Kaffe Lampe‘ opens daily  from 10 – 22.
