Das Zeiss-Planetarium Jena ist das dienstälteste Planetarium der Welt, ausgestattet mit neuesten digitalen Projektionstechnologien. Während CITY VISIONS wird die Kuppel des Zeiss-Planetariums Jena von außen mit Video-Projektionen der ‚Nachtsonne‘ bespielt.

Auch wenn wir die Sonne nachts nicht sehen, ist sie dennoch da. Nach Einbruch der Dunkelheit zeigt die Außenprojektion ‚Nachtsonne‘ aktuelle Videos unserer Sonne auf der Kuppel des Planetariums. So wird die für uns unsichtbare ‚Nachtsonne‘ sichtbar.

The Zeiss-Planetarium Jena is the longest-serving and noblest Planetarium of the world, equipped with the latest digital projection technology. During CITY VISIONS the dome will be enlightened by the video projection ’night sun‘ from the outside.

Although we cannot see the sun by night, it is always there. After dark the projection ’night sun‘ shows videos of the sun, making visible the invisible ’night sun‘.
